FW: Forney water line - SHUTDOWN tonight

BE ADVISED - As you can see from the email below they did not make the repairs last night and are requesting another shutdown tonight starting at 8:30 pm. Please contact me if there is a problem with this occurring tonight. The building will be shutdown and no one will be allowed in or should be in the building while the repairs are being made. They are saying it will take 4 -6 hours to be done. Thank you. The plan now is to make that replacement tonight 2/11/19 we have made some adjustments to the process and feel it will be successful. I would like to follow the same procedure used last night, everything went well except for getting the line replaced. Shutdown - 8:30 pm Thuirsday

BE ADVISED - Tomorrow - Thursday 2-7-19 - at 8:30 pm the building will be shutdown and closed off for repairs to be made on a water line. This shutdown will last approximately 4-6 hours in duration. No one is supposed to be in the building during this time so plan accordingly. Only the water will be shutdown and all other utilities will be in normal operation. Thank you. Jeff

BE ADVISED - Tomorrow, Thursday, 2-7-19, the building will be shutdown at 8 pm for approximately 4 hours for repairs to be made to the incoming water line that supplies FRNY. Since the fire sprinkler system will be off, no one will be allowed in or can be in the building after 8 pm. Please take the appropriate precautions and make the necessary arrangements for your labs and equipment. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thanks you. Safety awareness training sessions - new dates

Hello Everyone, I have scheduled 2 safety awareness training sessions for the following dates: Thursday, February 7th at 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 pm in FRNY 3062B Tuesday, February 12th at 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 am in FRNY 3062B All new employees and researchers need to have initial safety training. If you have new people joining your groups for research, they will need safety training before they can start working (e.g. visitors, exchange students, post-docs, etc.). Please ask them to attend any of these sessions. Most of our undergraduate students already have the initial training, and would need to take the online refresher. Students from other departments, doing research in our labs, will need this initial training. Should you have any questions, please let me know.
