Good afternoon, Davidson School of Chemical Engineering is inviting nominations for the graduate level 2021 Marilyn Forney Trailblazer Award. This award recognizes an outstanding student whose impact has helped pave the way for women in the field of engineering. One graduate students will be recognized with this award. Please see attached the award description and details on eligibility and selection criteria. Last year recipient was Laura Wilcox. Due date for nominations is Saturday, May 15, 2021, and the award will be presented during the ChE Graduate Research Symposium in August 2021. Hello Everyone, The Chemical Engineering Safety Committee is happy to invite nominations for the 2021 ChE Excellence in Safety Award. Please find attached the nomination form, award description and details on eligibility and selection criteria. Nomination Process: Any ChE faculty member, staff, graduate or undergraduate student performing research can nominate any eligible ChE graduate student. A nominator can support only one candidate. Please submit your nominations to Gabriela Nagy at nagyg(a)purdue.edu<mailto:nagyg@purdue.edu>, by 5 pm on Monday, May 10, 2021. Nominations should not exceed 250 words (please use the attached template) and should include specific examples. This event features 25 talks from a variety of fields, such as Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Enzymology, Methods Development, Molecular Analogs, and Pathogens. Day 2 will feature our lightning talks session, consisting of 20 short talks given in different Zoom rooms over the course of an hour.
