Odor in new 1st floor hall

BE ADVISED - There is an odor present on the new side 1st floor hallway that is the result of an oven in one of the labs being set at a temp higher than normal. Odor in north stairwell

BE ADVISED - They drained/flushed the fire sprinkler system on the north side of the building in the past hour down in the basement of the addition and the odor/smell of the old standing water made it into the stairwell. It will clear out after awhile. Thanks Jeff Valley

Fume Hood Exhaust Addition Side

Purdue Alert test - today at 10 am

Good morning, everyone, Purdue Emergency Preparedness Office will test the Alert system of notification today, at 10 am. The test will be used to simulate a live situation for practice. This is a test ONLY and no action is necessary. The alert system includes campus-wide emailing, text messaging, Twitter, information posted to the Campus Status page, All Hazards Outdoor Siren activation, Alertus beacons installed in large classrooms, desktop popup alerts on most classroom and lab computers, approximately 185 digital signs, and Boiler TV emergency alert system activation. The alert posted to the Campus Status page will state: This is the semi-annual TEST of the Purdue emergency warning notification system. This test simulates a level 1 incident. No action is necessary.
