New Mileage Rate - July 1st, 2011

New Mileage Rate for Privately Owned Vehicles Goes into Effect July 1, 2011 To correspond with an increase to the mileage rate allowed by the Internal Revenue Service, Purdue has adopted the mileage rate of 55.5 cents per mile for privately owned vehicles used for University business travel on or after July 1, 2011. Award regulations for state of Indiana contracts and grants require reimbursement under the state's travel regulations. Travel supported by the state continues to be paid mileage at 44 cents per mile. Northwestern Garage Closure today

The north half of the Northwestern Garage will be completely closed beginning at 5:30 PM on Friday, July 1, to 5 PM on Monday, July 4 for sealing work. Any vehicles left in the garage during this time may be towed at the owner's expense. In addition, the main entrance off Northwestern Avenue will be closed during this time.
