We will not have a LORRE meeting on July 25th. Our next scheduled meeting is August 8th which is currently scheduled as a safety committee meeting - this may change so please stay tuned. We will resume weekly meetings for the fall semester starting on August 22nd at 9:30 AM in POTR 234. I will send a notice with some instructions as that date approaches. 333 fume hoods out of order, work in progress

The two hoods (not sand baths) in 333 did not pass inspection. Please do not use until repaired. A work order has been initiated. The signs will be removed after repair. Updates to LORRE Summer Seminar Schedule

LORRE- I will use Thurs timeslot for a meeting of ONLY the Safety Committee with the invitation for any PI to attend. Brent will present on Jul 11. THANK YOU ALL for your efforts during last-minute inspection prep amongst POTR and for your continued efforts in all the safety improvements we've made since I joined LORRE back in September. To the LORRE Safety Committee -REM's findings of our self-audits -the discussion amongst REM before their walk-through - what was remedied on-the-spot- during their inspection -and if available, present their inspection report. To remain in compliance and indemnified under REM, all abatements must be completed by Sunday, June 30, 2018. This tight timeline will not be a problem, as I'll discuss during the meeting.
