LORRE Students and Lab Staff, Everyone should be present and ready on Tuesday May 7 from 1-3pm to help tidy up and cleanout materials from B-38. Over the course of the semester, things have gotten messy in this lab as materials and equipment have been placed there or worked with there. Next Tuesday is everyone's chance to get this lab back into shape. I expect that everyone will be there and ready to help make this a quick job! Laboratory Worker Safety Training Checklist

I've attached the most recent version which includes checkboxes for other lab guided training: LN2, Comp Gases, Sharps, Haz Waste & Biological Safety Review. First Aid Kit review was removed as we do not maintain First Aid Kits in any of our labs. I use this checklist to document new lab user training and as a guideline for REM requirements. Comments are welcomed but the document is working well so far. Lab Users- I would like to schedule a chemical cleanout and general cleanup of 233/252. Please let me know who I can expect for this 30 min cleanup of 233/252 from 330-4pm next Wed, Apr 24. This includes dry chemicals stored in upper 233 cabinets and flammable cabinets. If you know of expired or no longer used chemicals, I will be available to meet that day or before.
