Rough Meeting Notes

LORRE meeting notes Ok to store 3 posters in 4th floor hallway- Xueli will collect at printer and hang Mike & Christine's sponsorship plaque hung on 4117C Encourages any LORRE member to answer Visitor's questions Festivities start at 130pm Maps available, includes day's programs Expect LORRE Alumni, okay for visitors to walk through labs If you registered for the day's event, you will have a nametag. On-site Registration can print a nametag. Lindsey is finalizing specific details for the lyophilizer (freeze drier): heated shelves and drying chamber (shelves) in addition to manifold holding flasks. Have chosen one compressor versus two (too costly). Mike approves the installation line charges and two warranty charges. Be aware we have noticed 4 month shipping delays (long lead times)- Elena's reagents have been dramatically affected. PLAN AHEAD for everything! Dishwasher (Steelco) accessory pieces for the racks are expected to ship any business day but they're coming from Italy. There are still open dates for LORRE Seminar, the next two Tuesdays- Sept 28 & Oct 5. Expected to add 2-3 grad students in coming semester. See most of you tomorrow at the ABE Building Dedication. Out of Office

This note is to let everyone know that I will be out of the office tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 24). I will also begin sick leave on Wednesday, Sept. 29 for approximately 6-8 weeks (will return sooner if I am able and hopefully not more than that!).
