Reminder: ESE Symposium Lunch and Poster Session

Afternoon! I wanted to send out a reminder that there is still time to RSVP for the ESE Symposium Networking Lunch and Poster Session. Our panelists and keynote will be present for the networking lunch. As of right now, the plan is to have it at the John Purdue Room. It'll be a fun, unique experience, so please RSVP if you are able. Next is the poster session. Even with being in ESE, you are still able to participate and should have some form of research that would qualify. If you are in the 22-23 cohort, you are not eligible to win the award money; however, for the rest of you it's fair game as our judges will be impartial postdocs from various areas. Good afternoon, On behalf of the 2022-2023 Ecological Sciences and Engineering Student Cohort, I am reaching out to invite students, staff, faculty, and colleagues to attend our upcoming Fall Symposium, Feeding the Future: Food for All. The symposium takes place on Wednesday, October 11th and Thursday, October 12th. This symposium is completely FREE to attend! Good evening, The following is information regarding the kickoff event for ISF taking place September 15th. There’s also an attached flyer if you’re interested in joining. Amy Hi all, Ellen Wells and I invite you to attend a kickoff event for ISF's Environmental Justice Research Community on 9/15 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in MRGN 129. Our research community is diverse, with members representing a variety of disciplines from across campus whose work touches the intersection of understanding how environmental hazards are distributed disproportionately in communities of color and low-income communities. As a learning community, we actively pursue a growth mindset toward environmental justice research and encourage you to help us grow our definition. So please join us whether you're an active scholar in this field or encountering health impacts of environmental hazards, community-based environmental monitoring, policy applications such as zoning or permitting regulations, or environmental hazards' social and cultural effects in your research.
