Dear FNR and ESE communities,
Please join me in congratulating Becca Nixon who successfully defended an excellent dissertation this morning focusing on her research on adaptations to social-ecological change and value tradeoffs in northwestern Pakistan. Becca joined FNR and ESE in August 2017, and has been an amazing student and member of both FNR and ESE communities! She will be starting a post-doctoral research associate position with the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant in mid-January to conduct watershed restoration and community revitalization research in the Great Lakes region.
