To All, Just wanted to let everyone know that next week I will be on vacation (9/18-9/22). Also, Dr. Ladisch will be out of the office between 9/20-9/22 on travel. This would consist of any equipment costing more than $5,000. This form is required for insurance purposes. I have attached the POC form. Once it is completed, please submit to the Business office. If you are taking equipment off campus that is under $5,000, please complete the form as well and the Business Office will hold the form for documentation purposes only. Many laptops are under the $5,000 threshold. Property accounting suggest these laptops be registered with the Purdue Police Department. All, Please find attached the presentation about our new lab and office mayors. *************************************************** It is everyone's responsibility to keep the LORRE chemical inventory up to date. Use the form below to update the inventory when you buy new chemicals, use up the last of an old chemical, or cannot find a chemical at its specified location. Even if you cannot share a new chemical that you purchased, it needs to be in the inventory to comply with safety regulations. Each line in the inventory should represent one chemical container, so purchasing duplicate bottles of the same chemical requires duplicate entries. When you purchase a chemical, you should also write the following on the bottle; - First Initial & Last Name, - The date logged into the inventory - The Room # & Cabinet # where it will be stored (ensure compatible storage first) Give the MSDS sheet to the lab mayor for incorporation into their binder if it is not already.
