Don't forget to send your posters, demonstrations, and students if you have a Seed Grant, or GDT.
If not, please stop by anyway. This is all international, all engineering.

Subject: GEE Fair tomorrow! Last minute items
All,
The fair is tomorrow and we are making final preparations. The weather is looking like we might has some rain. Please be prepared for that. We will have plastic sheets to put over your tables.
-Set up will begin at 8am. I have attached a map and legend so you know where you will be placed. We can make adjustments tomorrow if necessary. Each department/school/office will have their own table inside the tent. We have black tables cloths for each table. We also have 20 rolling poster boards arriving if you wish to display posters.
-Each table will have luggage tags that say "Purdue Engineering" to give away. You are free to give away any marketing items you want as well.
-Each Engineering School/Department table will have a tri-fold brochure showing study abroad locations. You are free to hand out whatever you like in addition to that.
-Every table will have fliers about the Global Engineering Minor.
-We have bottled water available for everyone.
-Hot Box is giving out 400 orders of "Walking Sticks"- 3 breadsticks in a Hot Box cup with a sauce. Everyone is welcome to one. They will also be selling pizza slices. We also have Jimmy Johns giving out 150 small sandwiches, popcorn, and fortune cookies. You are welcome to bring other items.
-Student volunteers will be given a voucher for a free slice of Pizza for working the fair during lunch. They need to check in at the information table to get their voucher. This needs to be students who are wearing a shirt and actually working the fair.
-We will have extra shirts available at the fair, but we are getting limited on sizes. They will be available at the Information desk.
-We have a "Dream Flight" to give away from Purdue Aviation. You will have flyers showing how students can enter to win on your tables.
-A Purdue photographer will be taking photos from 11am-1pm. Please help us get some good photos!
-We have a Snapchat filter for posting photos.
Thank you all for your assistance and patience with this event. This is our first time planning it, so I'm sure there will be a lot of bumps along the road! The fair is sponsored by: Global Engineering Programs, The office of Undergraduate Education, and The Office of Professional Practice/GEARE.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Greetings,
We are writing from the ICT Fund-UAE, to invite your esteemed organization , faculty members and students to participate in the UAE Awards for Good that will be held in Dubai 10th – 11th of February 2017.
It’s an annual award focusing on how technology can be best used for the better of humanity with the UAE’s prime minister SH. Mohamed bin Rashid himself awarding the winning team the $1,000,000 prize money. The ICT Fund is organizing and sponsoring the 2017 awards and has opened the opportunity for teams globally to apply via the awards respective websites as time is limited. Those teams that will be selected will have all costs covered to travel to the UAE and any other costs to present their innovations and inventions to the judging panels on the day of the competition. It is a great platform with international and local media coverage and many global speakers.
Participants are required to register for the awards and will be required to submit their videos and proposals using the online submission form until the 31st of October 2016. Teams can comprise individuals, groups, universities or companies. Each team must nominate a project leader and can submit up to three entries. Teams can consist of as many members as they require, however only four members of each team will be eligible for sponsored travel if selected for the semi-finals.
We look forward to your participation.
