Colleagues,
The final I2D Lab meeting for 2015 is scheduled for Thursday, December 10 at 12:00-1:30pm in WANG 2501 with the following guest presentations and project updates:
Jun Chen, Micro-hydropower for powering rural African communities: Opportunities, challenges, and lessons
Jacqueline Linnes, Point-of-care detection of neonatal sepsis
Jennifer DeBoer, Engineering skills curriculum and digital materials for out of school youth
Please try and attend. You are also welcome to bring along one or two students who would be interested in attending. The goal of these meetings is to learn more about engineering faculty interests and ongoing projects in global sustainable development, look for potential research collaborations, and to network with partners on campus to target new funding/partnership opportunities.
If you have not yet done so, we ask that you RSVP with Tami Sells (tells(a)purdue.edu) to this, and subsequent meetings so that we can obtain a count for lunch.
The meeting dates for 2016 follows. Please mark your calendars. Meeting topics and talk titles are forthcoming.
