Good morning students, I wanted to reach out and let you all know that there are some spaces still available for the Leadership Series, which starts today. The series is worth 8 PDHs and consists of four guest speaker sessions, reading The Student Leadership Challenge, and one small group meeting. We are really excited about this semester's guest speakers, which includes: 10/16/17 - Dr. Darryl Dickerson, Associate Director MEP 10/23/17 - Tony Roswarski, Mayor of Lafayette 10/30/17 - Bill Muzillo, Manufacturing Manager with General Motors 11/06/17 - Mung Chiang, Dean of Engineering Please be aware that if you sign up, you are expected to attend all four sessions. EPICS Students Raised $1300 for Puerto Rico

Hi all, You all exceeded our matching donation challenge, donating $650 for hurricane relief for Puerto Rico and raising $1300 with the staff matching funds. Submissions due this week - Reminder

Hey guys, Hope your week has been good so far. I want to remind you guys about the stuff due this week. * Notebooks: Your notebooks are due Friday, October 6th, 5:00 pm. Your comments from week 4 conferences do not need to be fixed for weeks prior to that, but there should be clear evidence of work done and improvement from that. * Individual Evaluation Rubric and Project Evaluation Rubric Should be completed and handed over by hand, at the start of design review on Friday, October 6th. * Peer Evaluation: Make sure you complete the peer evaluation before the due date. To access your peer evaluation, go to myEPICS and click on "View Available Peer Evaluations<https://engineering.purdue.edu/MyEpics/index.php?Module=Modules_Survey&Acti…>" > Team Members should evaluate everyone in their Sub - Team, and if you feel like you want to review anyone with specific team roles (eg: Webmaster, Financial officer, project manager), you can do so. > Design leads have the same responsibilities as team members, but you are required to review the Project Manager (me) and can review anyone else with a team role. Hey guys, I just wanted to remind you that we have our mock presentation Today at 8.15pm. You will just have to come to the same place we meet for lab. So some of you had replied and some haven't, so let me remind of the things to finish by today. > Use the link I sent in the previous email to make the slides. Your slides don't have to be perfect, but we need to have the general structure of how your team will be presenting the slides. >The design documents should be ready as we have to submit it tomorrow. Hey guys, I am sorry about the number of emails you keep receiving, but we need to get a lot of work done and not everyone checks/has access to their GroupMe. Since there have been a few people who had questions about design documents and couldn't find it on SharePoint, I'll attach the Template that you will have to use and a few examples. If you still want more examples, you can go to : Sharepoint > India > Semester Documentation> Select a semester and look for "Design specification" or "Design Document" In summary, documents attached include: 1. Design Document Template 2. Design Document Example (HFIC Irrigation Team)x2 Semesters 3. Mid Semester Design Review Presentation x 2 Semesters If you still have any further clarifications, drop me an email and I will get back to you.
