Hi, Everyone, As part of MSE Student Night during the spring semester, we generally honor our Outstanding Materials Engineer Awardees (OMSE). Due to the pandemic, the 2020 event was cancelled. In an effort to recognize last year's awardees, we will be hosting a virtual ceremony tomorrow afternoon, Wed. Feb. 24th, at 3:30pm. The presenters are Beverly and Dr. Ray Mentzer who, between them, have over 60 years of experience at ExxonMobil. Bev Mentzer retired as Vice President, ExxonMobil, after working in both domestic & international engineering and managerial positions, and leading engineers, geoscientists and onsite operations staff in US onshore and offshore oil & gas operations. Dr. Ray Mentzer worked in oil & gas operations, project design, financial planning and public affairs, taught at TAMU, and is the Executive Director of the Purdue Process Safety & Assurance Center. MSE office closing by 12:30 pm today

Due to inclement weather, the MSE main offices will close today at 12:30 pm and remain closed Tuesday and Wed. Faculty and Staff may enter using their keys, but the doors will remain locked. Unless Purdue closes, you can still send packages out by completing the Form 23: https://www.purdue.edu/materials/documents/form23-domestic.pdf attached to your package and leaving them the 'Campus Mail' box in ARMS 1128.
