Dr. Shalaginov is currently a postdoctoral associate at MIT. For his research advances, he has been awarded with several awards including the 2017 College of Engineering Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award by Purdue University. Therefore, it is increasingly important for mentors to prepare students for these challenges as they plan for their future careers.
