Graduate students who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) face unique challenges such as loneliness, isolation, or microaggressions when entering a workforce that is predominantly White. Therefore, it is increasingly important for mentors to prepare students for these challenges as they plan for their future careers. This workshop will feature strategies and advice from a panel of experts for finding support networks, understanding rights in the workplace, and navigating though these challenges.
