Hello All - We are pleased to announce that the image contest has been extended to January 31st. 2023 Birck Nanotechnology Center Hero Research Image Contest Deadline Extended to January 31, 2024 Sponsored by NSAC and Birck leadership This year the theme is Hero Images from your work here at Birck - your best sample, breakthrough data, or something you're especially proud of. As always, all the Birck community is invited to contribute. Please provide a short paragraph explaining what we are looking at and why it is a "hero" for you. Student hero image entries are eligible to win cash prizes! If you have any striking villain images, the enemies of your heroes, you are invited to submit these as well (but they will not likely garner cash prizes!). Holiday Scavenger Hunt

Event Details How to Participate: Pick up your cards at Nancy's desk on or after Monday, 12/11. The card will contain clues and questions that you must answer to find hidden symbols throughout the building. Deadline: Find all of the symbols and turn in completed cards to Nancy's desk by Thursday, 12/14. How to Win: Everyone who turns in a completed card will be entered into a drawing for lottery scratch tickets at the holiday party on 12/15. Make sure you don't miss out on the fun! Event Details: * Title: Recharge with NSAC Finals Exam Game Night Date: Thursday, December 7th (TODAY) Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM Location: BRK 2001 Activities: Join us for an evening of fun and relaxation as we bring together Xbox, Wii games, and a variety of board games to create an enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you're a gaming enthusiast or just looking to take a break, there's something for everyone. We'll also have refreshing juice and delicious pizza to keep you fueled and focused. Feel free to bring your own board games to share with others and make the night even more exciting. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow students, take a break from studying, and enjoy some well-deserved leisure time.
