Hello everyone, If you haven't visited the EWB website yet, you should! I will be keeping the calendar on our website up-to-date with upcoming meetings and report deadlines, so it would be a good idea to bookmark this page: https://engineering.purdue.edu/EWB/Calendar . In addition, I've made a new facebook group, which will also include upcoming meetings as events. Hello all EWBers, Tuesday - No Pump design meeting again this week. We are still waiting on info from EIA. Wednesday - This week we will be having a General Meeting for all to attend!! I was hoping to have it this Wednesday at 7pm, in the usual room ME 2053. Please everyone try to make it, (ESPECIALLY OFFICERS) These are our times to get everyone back in the group and aware of whats going on throughout the organization. Thursday - We will also be having the regular meeting of the Concrete tank design team this Thursday again at 7pm and in ME 2053. Everyone interested in design phases try to attend. Hi everyone, There are two steps you must do to become a registered member of EWB-USA. The first fill out this form so we can submit the information to EWB-USA as a chapter: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFcxRDZLSWFwWDZGd3otdE… The second is sign-up on EWB-USA.org yourself. (It only works with Internet Explorer, sorry) http://www.ewb-usa.org/get-involved/membership, click "JOIN NOW". You will have to create an ASCE username. VERY IMPORTANT! Choose "Purdue Univ" as your Employer and choose you're major as your Occupation. Select Student member and Purdue University as the chapter. Alex

EWBers, For those on the Design Team committees, BOTH the Tank and Pump committees will be meeting tonight (Thursday) at 7pm in ME 2053 . If you are not on a design team yet and are interested in joining one, I highly suggest you go to the meeting and start getting involved! I want to remind you that any major, even non-engineers, can be on the design team. There are many different aspects to design work, and a diverse generates creative and innovative solutions. It is just a matter of what type of role you will take within the design team and what you contribute. These should be a regularly occurring event, so if you hope to be on the design team I hope you are able to make at least one of these meetings regularly. Hello all EWBers!! Attached to this email is last Tuesdays Meeting minutes. We had our elections last week and we just want to thank everyone who applied, and congratulations to everyone that won. The members that will be hopefully taking over next semester are: . President - Carlos Blanco . Vice President - Kim Reppa . Secretary - Mary Boyne . Events/Publicity - Chloe Heinen . Communications (aka Brand Manager) - Chrissy Verhoff And joining the design team leaders are: . Design Team Leaders - Sarah (tanks) and Tyler (pumps) As of now our scheduled meeting times will start to change. It will be important for everyone to stay current with your email as this will be the primary means for setting up new meetings and sharing information. General Meetings will no longer be held every Tuesday, future meetings will be determined later, but no general meeting this week. In place of the general meeting, different sub committees will be meeting throughout the week. So far this week only our design teams will be meeting, if you're on the design team, you should pick one that you can attend each week. Right now our designs will be broken up into pump design and the concrete tank design. Tuesday 7pm - Pump Design Team Meeting - ME 2053 Thursday 7pm - Concrete Tank Design Team Meeting - Location not yet determined Those of you not on the design team - keep an eye out for future emails about meeting times.
