We are looking for participants ages 60 and plus to join our new study on neurocognitive and physical activity in relation to financial abuse. Thank you, Marian Liu Assistant Professor School of Nursing & Center on Aging and the Life Course Purdue University Study Title: A Pilot Study on Neurocognitive and Physical Activity Profile among Older Adults At-Risk of Financial Abuse Adults age 60+ are needed to participate in a study on neurocognitive and physical activity in relation to financial abuse We want to see how individual characteristics, including neurocognitive and physical activity, are related to financial decision making. To qualify, you must be 60 years or older, speak English, and not have cognitive impairment. What's involved? Participants will join the study on two separate days. * The screening is about 1 hour, involving demographic questionnaires and surveys to capture physical activity, social network, and financial experiences. It can be done at Purdue campus or via webconference (need to have access to a webcam and have the webcam turned on in order for the experience to be comparable to in-person experience). * The lab visit is about 2 hours, involving computer games and recoding of brain waves using electroencephalogram (EEG) in Lambert Fieldhouse at Purdue University (750 South University Street, West Lafayette, IN 47907). Participants will be compensated for $15 for screening. If selected for the lab visit, participants will be compensated for an additional $45 for completing the study.
