*LORRE February Safety Issue* 2/27/2017 */Chemical Inventory development/* We have a new chemical inventory system based out of Google Drive. The room by room inventories have been consolidated into a single inventory. With this new inventory it is everyone's responsibility to ensure that the document stay up to date. You will not have editing rights directly to the inventory but you can update the inventory by filling out a Google form which will immediately update to the list.It will be easy and convenient**for LORRE members to review LORRE storage Chemicals, and it will also save time and avoid duplication of chemical purchases.*Red Corn, Raymond* will give a demo in an upcoming lab meeting (3/6/2017). 1)All chemicals should be placed back in their original position after you use them, otherwise the chemical Inventory becomes useless. 2)It is everyone's responsibility to fill out this form when new chemicals are found, old ones are used up, or other discrepancies in the inventory are discovered. 3)Submit MSDs sheets to the Lab's mayor where the chemical is stored for incorporation into the MSDs folder.
