ASPRS Student Chapter at Purdue University

Hello Boilermakers, I am the Chair of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS)<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.asprs…> Student Advisory Council and I would like to invite you to start a Student Chapter at Purdue University. The steps required to create a Student Chapter are fairly simple (Student Chapter Petition Application<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpublicdoc…>) and I am making myself available to help you in every step of the process. All that is needed to start the process of creating a Chapter is 3 student officers that will take on the role of President, Vice President, and Secretary. The officers must hold student membership in ASPRS (the rest of the students in the Chapter are not required to be members). The cost of a student membership is $50, but I have already secured sponsorship for the officers. That means the membership is free. Chi Epsilon FE Review Session Info

Hi CCE Students, Chi Epsilon will be hosting the first FE Review Session of the semester this Thursday from 7-8pm in PHYS 202. This review session will cover Hydraulics and Hydrology and will be hosted by Alyssa, who is concentrating in this area. She will go over the most important topics, cover some review problems, and answer any questions. This event is open to all students and is especially geared towards those studying for the FE! The Moh Scholarships supporting LSCCE students participating in international programs (academic year 2024-2025)

September 13, 2024 Dear LSCCE Students: The Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering is pleased to offer Moh Scholarships to LSCCE students participating in international programs at Purdue University. The Moh Scholarships are supported by the Za-Lee and Jeannette Moh Endowment. During the 2024-2025 academic year (i.e., Fall 2024, Winter 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025), the Moh Scholarships will be offered at the following levels: * "Semester program" category: $3,000 for each LSCCE student participating in a Purdue-approved semester program * "Short-term study abroad program" category: o $1,000 for each LSCCE student participating in a LSCCE-offered short-term study abroad course o $500 for each LSCCE student participating in a non-LSCCE-offered short-term study abroad course Please see the enclosed document for additional information (definitions, conditions, and requirements) about the Moh Scholarships. The Moh Scholarship will be applied automatically if a student is eligible. However, the award may be delayed due to timing of the confirmation of student's participation, due to timing of the program, and current major (in cases of move into LSCCE). This academic year, LSCCE faculty are offering six short-term study abroad courses (one in Winter 2024, one in Spring Break 2025, and four in Summer 2025).
