Nanodays - Let's thank and encourage our staff and students

Dear colleagues So far we're having a good response to NanoDays. It seems that most of the schools will be done by 1pm tomorrow. Our staff and volunteers are working hard to make this a success. If you haven't had a chance to be part of the event yet, it would be great if you could spend a few minutes with the children, the teachers, and our Birck people tomorrow to encourage and thank them for their effort. Having a faculty member stop by a booth and chat with the people there means a lot! Thanks a lot Dimitri

Dear All, Thank you to those who have already registered to volunteer for NanoDays 2016! We have an Urgent need for more volunteers to display nano-kit activities on Friday, April 15th for morning session 9-11:30am. Please register as soon as possible if you haven't done so far or consider to help for one more session (http://vols.pt/Mz5LgH) Your time and help is highly appreciated! NanoDays celebrations bring university researchers together with science educators to create learning experiences for children and adults to explore the minuscule world of atoms, molecules and nanoscale forces. Birck Nanotechnology Center at Discovery Park is hosting NanoDays activities at Purdue since 2010. All Purdue faculties and students are invited to display their nano-related research at this event. We are looking for several enthusiastic volunteers, who enjoys explaining pre-designed scientific activities and answering curious questions by the future nano scientists.
