We are preparing to migrate your doors to the LenelS2 NetBox door access control system the week of April 6-10, 2026. Important reminders for students (undergraduate and graduate): * Students are Mobile First for building access. * Even if a student currently has a physical card, replacement cards will not be issued unless their phone is not capable of supporting Mobile Credentials. * Students should activate Mobile Credentials before the S2 migration to avoid losing access. Why are we changing the readers? This upgrade improves overall security, reliability, and consistency across campus, supports modern mobile access, and allows for better system management and future enhancements. The older cards and readers are no longer compatible with these improvements. We appreciate your help in spreading the word and encouraging early action. Taking care of this now will prevent access issues once the new system is live. Thank you for your ongoing partnership, cooperation, and support as we modernize Purdue's access systems. For additional information, please check out the ID Card Operations / Support website<https://www.purdue.edu/treasurer/finance/card/> or submit a ticket to transact@purdue.edu<mailto:transact@purdue.edu>. FAQs If I use my Purdue Mobile ID will I still need to replace my physical ID? * No. If you have an active Purdue Mobile ID, you will not need to replace your physical card for door access. Will doors still open if someone swipes their magstripe instead of tapping? * No. If a user attempts to swipe, the reader will Flash red and Deny access. This is expected behavior and helps reinforce the transition to contactless use. Will all Transact readers across campus only use contactless technology by Spring 2026? * Yes. All readers connected to the Transact and LenelS2 systems will use contactless credential technology only. -- Bmeroundtable-list mailing list Bmeroundtable-list@ecn.purdue.edu https://engineering.purdue.edu/ECN/mailman/listinfo/bmeroundtable-list
