Dear MSE community, Happy spring at last! I am pleased to share that Sarah Anderson has joined the School to help communicate our many achievements to our local and far-flung community. Working closely with Maddi Walsh, this team will especially be enhancing our web and social media presence to better connect with our current and prospective students, alumni, industry partners, and colleagues at other institutions. Watch for some creative new approaches and initiatives like the upcoming "Day of Materials" (3/31). About Sarah: Sarah joins MSE as our new Senior Communications and Marketing Strategist. She will be working from the MSE office on Mondays and Wednesdays, and brings 15 years of experience at Purdue in a variety of roles within the Office of Research. As she settles into her new role, Sarah will be reaching out to learn more about you and the work you do across MSE. She will also be sharing a tool to help gather information about your research, recent publications, awards, conference activity, outreach, and other noteworthy updates. This content will support MSE’s website, social media presence, and broader outreach efforts. If you have news or accomplishments to share more immediately, feel free to contact Sarah directly at andersons@purdue.edu<mailto:andersons@purdue.edu%E2%80%94she%E2%80%99s>—she’s<mailto:andersons@purdue.edu%E2%80%94she%E2%80%99s> excited to help us tell our stories. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling and spending time with her very busy 13‑year‑old daughter. [cid:c08b1f6e-00c9-4f19-a20a-5d69ce81d1ff] -Bryan Bryan D.
