Hi, It is time again to nominate a seminar speaker for the ME Distinguished Lecture Series from the High Performance Buildings Research Area. I especially encourage our Assistant Professors to nominate speakers (especially ones that might be writing letters for you in the future). Please send me any nominations by August 14 so that we can decide who to invite and get them on the schedule before it fills up. I also need to know: Should we leave ME 55700 Design for Manufacturability on the list? Will ME 59700 Artificial Intelligence in Thermal Systems continue to be offered, or should it be removed? I’m also not currently seeing where we’ve assigned the following courses to any area, so if they should be added to your area, please let me know on those as well: ME 59700 Aeroelasticity ME 59700 Intro to Electronics Packaging & Heterogeneous Integration ME 59700 Solid Mechanics I ME 59700 Solid Mechanics II If you could get me your response by August 14, that would be great and allow us to get this updated before the semester starts. I will be working from Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico starting October 3rd

Good morning, I would like to let you know that starting Monday October 3rd I will be working remotely from Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico. Unfortunately my dad who is 86 years old got infected with COVID-19 last month and his neurological system got compromised. My sister Laura from Monterrey and I decided that we will be taking turns to look after him. I would like to assure you that the rest of the administrative assistants will be available to help you in all your immediate needs, and I will be performing my job the same way I have been doing from home.
