Please send me any other additions/changes by the end of next week. Also, let me know if you have the answer to Sheri’s question about whether ME 59700 Artificial Intelligence in Thermal Systems will continue to be offered.

Hello Area Chairs,
Can you please review the attached ‘ME course listing by research area’ page, attached? We have this on the ME Grad website as a resource for students (mostly Master’s non-thesis) to refer to, to get an idea of courses that would be relevant for their area of interest.
I’ve made some modifications to it, but I’ve also added in the application areas, so please review the fundamental as well as the application area that applies to your group, and provide me with any updates on the coursework listed, as to whether we need to add or remove courses in a particular section.
I also need to know:
Should we leave ME 55700 Design for Manufacturability on the list?
Will ME 59700 Artificial Intelligence in Thermal Systems continue to be offered, or should it be removed?
I’m also not currently seeing where we’ve assigned the following courses to any area, so if they should be added to your area, please let me know on those as well:
ME 59700 Aeroelasticity
ME 59700 Intro to Electronics Packaging & Heterogeneous Integration
ME 59700 Solid Mechanics I
ME 59700 Solid Mechanics II
If you could get me your response by August 14, that would be great and allow us to get this updated before the semester starts.
