I also realize that Spring Break will delay some responses and ability to view in person. Pipette tips- I've identified many tips that do not seem to fit our P-style pipettors. I've moved this to a temporary benchtop near the balances (around the left corner) of 235. Please take a moment to browse these tips. For example, there are some gray boxes of 300uL tips and MANY cases of green 250uL & red 10uL RAININ brand tips. Filters- I have removed many filters from our lab spaces with the exception of the 20+ drawers in POTR333. Before I move all in an organized fashion into a separate brown cabinet in 235, I am asking if we still use the styles listed below or if someone is certain that they are out-of-date. The filters removed from lab spaces except 333 are on two carts in 235, if you feel the need to browse. Filter styles- 1 2 3 5 6 40 41 42 43 44 50 52 54 101 113 114 417 540 541 542 934-AH G6 GF/A B C F P8 Q2 Q5 Q8 Other common items- In the back of 237, in the left cabinet currently contains: culture tubes- may stay or relocate petri dishes, plastic inoculating loops- we own too many. who else can use? additional bioreactor parts- can they be moved to cabinet below bioreactor? biohazard orange bags, pouches, labels, racks- likely to remain here right cabinet serological pipets (many still remain thoughout labs) cotton tipped applicators Pasteur pipets (one entire, full shelf...who else can use?) brown paper bags (necessary to keep?) syringes (many more syringes in 2-3 cabinets in 333). I need a home for the many bags of Gene Pulser cuvettes if you can suggest one. I hope to finalize the pipette tip and filter tasks by next Wed. Please view in person before then if you're able. Thank you. Lindsey
