Dear All, As some of you may know, we have been working on a discussion series called IDEAS – Insight Dialogue Engagement Action Scale. IDEAS is a collection of ongoing conversations with domestic and international non-profit organizations, civil society representatives, community leaders, government and non-government leaders, researchers and donor organizations. These conversations will focus on topics that include regional and thematic priorities in the wake of COVID 19, challenges that organizations are anticipating for the future, post-pandemic world, and the role that R&D can play in responding to those changes. At its core, this series will represent the capabilities that our systems must embody to become more resilient, inclusive and equitable; allowing us to collectively imagine the new normal - one that works for everyone! I am excited to share our first conversation in the series on ‘Sustainable Approaches for Building Resilient Systems in Emerging Economies’ with Ms. Reema Nanavaty, the Secretary General of Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA)<http://www.sewa.org/index.asp>- the largest trade union of informal sector workers in India with over 1.9 million women members. Please find the introduction video and discussion with Ms. Nanavaty on our IDEAS Page - https://engineering.purdue.edu/GEP/ShahLab/IDEAS Feel free to drop us a line with your thoughts and feedback. Much appreciate your engagement. Thanks, Pallavi __________________________ Kind Regards, Pallavi Gupta Assistant Director of Programs Shah Family Global Innovation Lab<https://engineering.purdue.edu/GEP/ShahLab> Global Engineering Programs and Partnerships Office: 765-496-7311 | gupta604@purdue.edu<mailto:gupta604@purdue.edu> [/Users/gupta604/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Outlook/Data/Library/Caches/Signatures/signature_14322567]
