Hello ESE Faculty, This is a reminder that we need to have applications reviewed. Please log into SharePoint and review and give feedback on applications. I have added a column to the "snapshot" that shows how many reviews we have for applications. At this point applications have only been reviewed by 1 faculty member and some haven't been reviewed at all. The details on how to access SharePoint are below. Below are instructions. 1. Accessing SharePoint We use a SharePoint website for easy access to all applications electronically Go to the ESE webpage<http://www.gradschool.purdue.edu/ese/>, then hover over "For Faculty" and click "ESE Faculty Login" User name = onepurdue\career account For example - onepurdue\musser Password= career account password In the column on the left, click on the "ESE 2013" link/folder under Documents. Then open the FACULTY REVIEW APPLICATIONS FOLDER to access each student application. This folder will continue to receive new applications as they become complete in the next week or so. (We have admitted 11 students so far and we will be working to find them fellowships, assistantships, etc.) Your reviews are very important and knowing if you have funding possibilities is helpful too. 2. Submit your Reviews Please begin reviewing the applications and submitting your reviews via the form in SharePoint. Once logged into SharePoint, on the left column, at the top, Click on 2013 Survey Applicant Reviews. Then click on "Respond to this Survey". Complete the Survey to let us know your thought on the applications you reviewed. Each applicant will be reviewed by at least three faculty members. 3. Snapshot in Progress Located in the "ESE 2013" link/folder on the left column. The Snapshot is an excel file that list all the applicants names, GRE Scores, faculty interest, etc. This file is a starting point to see which applications you would like to take a closer look at. As more applications are submitted and complete, the file will be updated. Please let me know if you have any questions about the process or logging into SharePoint.
