Undergrad TA play an essential role in supporting the EPICS lab and projects. They: * Allow the lab to operate evenings and weekends. * Are alert to safety issues in the lab. * Have housekeeping and maintenance responsibilities. * Help replenishing common materials for the lab. * Manage the 3D printing queue. * May help with selection of materials, software, and tools. The lab has at least 1 UGTA vacancy for the next semester. The usual load is 10 hours per week to be fulfilled during evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate: * Is responsible and dependable (e.g., punctual, requires minimum supervision). * Is familiar with the EPICS lab spaces (e.g., has been in EPICS for multiple semesters). * Plan to work multiple semesters (e.g., is a sophomore or junior). * Has experience with the tools available in the lab (e.g., wood working, hand assembly, soldering). * Is fine performing general cleaning, organizing, and following task schedules.
