This program's goal is to expand the community involvement of Purdue students in partnership with communities, nonprofit agencies, schools, and governmental bodies. Both the application and guidelines for the Student Grant Program for Community Service/Service Learning Projects can be found online: https://slg.engagement.purdue.edu ________________________________ Purdue Service Learning Summit - Registration due Feb 22 The 2019 Summit will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019, 1:00 - 5:00 PM and is hosted by the Office and Engagement and Purdue Honors College. This event serves to bring together faculty, students, staff, and community partners to discuss best practices in engagement and service-learning; highlight accomplishments; and increase collaboration opportunities. This year, the event will feature two interactive sessions: a beginning track on critical listening and partnership formation and an advanced track on developing engaged scholarship. A showcase in conjunction with networking and hors d'oeuvres will close the event. Siemens is extremely interested in talking with students from EPICS, so please stop by at one of the two events. First, there is a company seminar in STEW 214AB on the Monday before EXPO (1/28) at 2:30pm. Next, they will be at the fair on the following Tuesday (1/29).
