Dear Colleagues, The seminar of faculty candidate Dr. Jian Qin is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 9-10:30 am in FRNY 3059. He received his PhD from the University of Minnesota in 2009 and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Chicago - his CV is attached fyi. This is not a required seminar for graduate students. As always, however, I particularly encourage all those who are interested in an academic career to attend, for an opportunity to see how such seminars are presented and how the Q&A goes.
