A couple of months ago , I visited Workforce inc, (which is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization) along with some others, and was extremely impressed by what I saw. Not only does Workforce recycle a lot of material, in a responsible manner, they also help people who have just come out of prison, make a new life. Workforce is not affiliated with any religious organization, that I know of, though they have received a grant from the CCHD. And so we decided to do our bit by hosting an e-waste collection. The collection will be just outside St Thomas Aquinas on campus on May 1st , between 10 AM and 2 PM Almost any electrical or electronics - except for refrigerators - anything with a cord. Below is a list of the items that will be accepted for recycling.
