Hello everyone, I have updated the safety training requirements for both lab based research and non-lab based research (office workers) to include Purdue's most up to date requirements. I have also updated this information on our website https://engineering.purdue.edu/ChE/aboutus/safety/index_html, under "Training". For your convenience, I attach both documents: the one applicable to faculty/staff/graduate students/visiting researchers (everyone apart from undergraduate students and PMP students), and the one applicable to undergraduate students and PMP students. The in-person sessions have returned as an integral part of the INITIAL safety training, and the dates for this semester are posted on the website. Preferably one should attend an in-person session AFTER completing all other steps and logging the completion of training. For this semester the in-person sessions are scheduled for the first and third Friday of the month, and the next session is tomorrow, September 2nd from 10:30 am in FRNY 2142. If you have any NEW people joining your group, or if you are new to our School and completed the rest of the steps, please come to one of the in person training sessions. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your commitment to safety!
