INDOT and D.J. McQuestion & Sons personnel will discuss the project details and the schedule for construction. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. at the Bethel Christian Life Center, located at 2541 US 52 West, West Lafayette. The US 231 Bypass will begin just north of the Wabash River and continue east of the Purdue University Airport, then northwest to State Road 26 near its intersection with Newman Road. The roadway will connect with US 52 just west of McCormick Road. The US 231 Bypass will be a five-lane undivided roadway from South River Road to State Road 26 (S.R. 26) and a four-lane limited access divided highway from S.R. 26 to US 52 when complete. Construction is expected to begin by the end of next week. US 231 is scheduled to be open to traffic by the end of September in 2013.
