Dear faculty, staff, and students, I have been notified that there is a COVID-19 positive test result for a member of our research community. This email is to inform you that all research spaces accessed by this researcher after their initial exposure to the virus, FRNY 2181, 2182, 2183, 2060C, G060D are closed today for disinfection according to the Purdue prescribed procedures (see the cleaning and disinfecting guidelines at this link: https://www.purdue.edu/ehps/rem/worker/covid19/cleaningguide.pdf). These research spaces will return to normal operations after disinfection is completed, starting tomorrow morning (8/3). As a reminder, starting today face masks are required for everyone, including fully vaccinated individuals, in all indoor spaces on campus.
