Dear Colleagues, I am writing to inform that Dr. Yury Zvinevich has been appointed to a new position in our School, Director of Instrumentation. This position is created by eliminating the previous position, Electronics Shop Coordinator, held by Dr. David Taylor. Dr. Zvinevich's position is 45% on School funds and the remaining on research funds. For the School portion, his duties involve maintaining the electronic aspects of both the junior Fundamentals Lab and the senior Unit Operations Lab (30%); serving the School's research needs related to electronics (10%); and serving on the Safety Cmte (5%). For the research portion, he will continue to contribute to the research efforts of Professors Ribeiro and Caruthers (55%). Please join me in welcoming Dr. Zvinevich to his new position!
