Beta Tau Jobsite

Hi CCE Students - Beta Tau is taking a trip to Lebanon, IN on Saturday, October 26th to visit two Messer Construction Co. jobsites. One site is an Administrative and Quality Control Lab Building and the other is a Pharmaceutical Drug Manufacturing Facility. These two projects are part of the larger LEAP project to bring an industrial park to Lebanon that has Eli Lilly & Co. as tenants. Eli Lilly & Co. are investing billions into a "medicine foundry." Lunch with Messer employees will be provided. PPE is important for this visit, so you need long sleeves as well as work boots or shoes that are composite or steel toed. No tennis shoes. If basic PPE is needed, you can specify that on signup and we will reach out. If you are interested, the attached flyer has a QR code that you can scan and sign up. Professors, Regional Directors and Industry Leaders, please share. All meals and costs are paid and we can compete for big prize money? Learn and have fun while doing it? What's not to love!" There are still two more weeks to encourage students to apply to be on a Project Precast 2025 team. The link is below and on the same page on the PCI Foundation website you will find more event details, information about prize money and videos from past events. Ultimately, there will be a total of 35 students chosen; 8 teams, each with 4 students (2 architecture, 1 engineering and 1 construction management) as well as 3 alternates. Each student will receive an all-expenses paid trip for 4 nights, to PCI Convention and The Precast Show February 3-7, 2025, in Indianapolis. By November 15 – all students will be notified if they were chosen for a team position, chosen as an alternate, or were not chosen this year. Teams will be announced.
