Fall 2017 Course Offering YDAE 59100: The Nexus of Food & Nutritional Security, Hunger, and Sustainability (CRN 18959) Hi fellow students, A brand new interdisciplinary course is open for registration. It is a 3-credit course, no prerequisites and opens to all disciplines, that will offer you experiences/insights of food security issues using integrated STEM learning and collaborative strategies. Here are some features that make this unique course a valuable experience. 1) Your classmates are not only Purdue students. You’ll also take this class with students from Texas A&M and Ohio State University. 2) There are 19 speakers from various expertise teaching this course. 3) The project is experiential learning style and offers a chance to apply your knowledge to help the local communities. 4) There will be a mid-term reflection and final presentation in place of exams.
