Dear BNC Users - For clarity, during our planned power outage on Monday October 14, all offices and conference rooms at Birck will lose power for office computers, other electronic items, and lighting (emergency lighting only). This could also affect remote access to your computer if it is located inside of the Birck center. Dear BNC Users - Mondays electrical work involving our Birck's HVAC system was begun but not finished. During yesterday's power outage 1 of the 3 new breakers would not reset and needs to be replaced. A new breaker typically has a 6 month lead time but yesterday the engineering firm, general contractor, and electrical sub-contractor scrambled to find a solution and purchased a compatible replacement electrical breaker that meets our specifications, and it was approved by the engineering firm. A 3rd electrical power outage involving Birck HVAC system again is planned for this coming Thursday starting at 7:30AM lasting 2 hours. We are sorry for the change in plans, we schedule these outages earlier in the week in case something would go wrong. Please give me a call if you have any questions or concerns.
