Dear West Lab Wing Users, The investigation found the water leak came from the air handling unit malfunction of the humidification section allowing water to back up and leak outside the air handler unit down into the laboratories below. The humidifier section has been commanded off, waiting further investigation to fix the root cause of the leak tomorrow morning. Temperature control for all the west wing laboratories (areas in yellow) will be under normal control, but the humidity will vary more than normal. We anticipate the humidity to stay inside the laboratory specification. Tomorrow we may shutdown the air handling unit for short periods of time to investigate and to patch drain pans and still maintain laboratory ambient conditions. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best Regards, Mark Voorhis Building Manager Purdue University Birck Nanotechnology Center Office: (765) 494-3036 From: Voorhis, Mark L.
