We are pleased to announce that Dan Hosler has accepted a new position within the Birck Engineering team. Effective Monday, April 2 Dan's new responsibilities will be to drive engineering excellence across the process and equipment groups within Birck. Dan holds a 6-Sigma Green Belt certification and has many years' experience in process optimization, structured problem solving, and statistical design of experiments. He will use this background to support the engineering team in achieving new levels of operational excellence which includes process optimization, operational efficiency improvements, and effective problem-solving techniques. Due to the significant measurement component of this assignment Dan will also acquire ownership responsibility for the various measurement tools within Birck. Dan's previous position as thermal engineer will become a staff opening and will be filled through the normal Purdue hiring process. Please join me in congratulating Dan on his new position.
