The Computational Biomedicine (CBM) Research Area is pleased to announce a new internal award program to support graduate students and postdoctoral researchers whose work advances computational approaches to biomedical discovery, translation, and healthcare innovation. Funding Available: Four awards of up to $2,500 each will be made available to support professional development activities that enhance AI literacy, specialized computational training, or research dissemination. Acceptable Use of Funds: Applicants may request support for conference presentations, workshops, short courses, AI/ML training opportunities, data science bootcamps, specialized technical training, or other activities that will strengthen their ability to conduct rigorous and impactful computational biomedicine research. To apply, applicants should submit a 1-2-page statement describing their current research, its alignment with computational biomedicine, the proposed use of funds, and the expected impact of the opportunity on their training and career development.
