It is a unique opportunity for College of Engineering graduate students to build their network, share the impact of their work in new and engaging ways, and learn from inspiring alumnae. The symposium accepts abstracts on topics associated with your research. This year, we are featuring professional development workshops hosted by alumni the evening prior to the symposium (Monday, February 12, 2024) for all symposium attendees. Those who are registered for and present at the Grad WiE Network Symposium will be eligible for the WiE Travel Grant drawing. Five (5) WiE Travel Grants of $2,000 each will be randomly awarded. Call for Abstracts: Submit a 250-500 word abstract that includes an introduction, research significance (which answers the question "why did you do this research?"), methodology, key findings, and the implications of your work. Please keep in mind that your abstract will likely be reviewed by someone outside your field; thus, write for someone who may not be familiar with your research area. Abstracts are accepted for review until November 13, 2023. Registration: Registration for attending the Grad WiE Network Symposium will open on December 1, 2023 and will close on February 2, 2024. You do not have to be a presenter to attend. 4 For more information, please visit the Graduate Women in Engineering Website (linked). The abstract submission form is located on the Graduate Women in Engineering Website, or directly here (linked).
