Good Afternoon, The following opportunity has been shared with me by one of you PhD alumni and is open to both faculty and graduate students. There isn't a specification on who can apply, they judge based on the project scope itself. If awarded, The funds are processed as a pure gift to the overarching labs and the donor believes they land as discretionary funds (from past awards). They don't require anything of the recipients after funding is received - although they might offer incentives for awardees to optionally share updates as their studies progress, but they're always optional. I have been told if you apply before Super Bowl Sunday, there is a strong chance of being funded.
