We stand against sexual violence and are committed to supporting victims of sexual violence. We want to remind the community that serves our students of our obligations to report sexual violence as part of our responsibility as mandatory Title IX reporters<https://www.purdue.edu/titleix/Title%20IX/mandatory_reporters.php> We also want to remind community members of available resources for reporting incidents and supporting victims of violence, harassment, and discrimination. These include: Confidential Support Services: CARE (Center for Advocacy, Response and Education)<https://www.purdue.edu/odos/care/about/index.html>: Purdue CARE provides confidential support and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, dating violence and stalking. CARE staff provide resources and direct services that are non-judgmental, survivor-focused and empowering. Advocates are available 24/7 by calling 765-495-CARE (2273). Purdue Student Health Center (PUSH)<https://www.purdue.edu/push/Medical/index.html> PUSH has trained professionals who can provide victims/survivors of any sex or gender with post-assault medical treatment, including injury treatment, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, and evaluation of the risk of pregnancy and prophylactic contraception, as needed. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)<https://www.purdue.edu/caps/> CAPS has professional therapists who are specially trained in college mental health with whom victims/survivors may consult in a confidential setting. Reporting: Incidents can be reported directly to Purdue’s Office of Institutional Equity<https://cm.maxient.com/reportingform.php?PurdueUniv&layout_id=37>. Community members can also always dial or text 911 from any phone to reach the 911 dispatch center for emergency assistance.
