Hello All- It is a recent tradition that the BME PMP program participates in a community service project each semester. This semester is no different. However, I would like to open it up to the entire BME community for those of you that might be interested. Below is more information about the event. If you would like to participate, let me know and I will add you to the calendar invite. This semester we will be volunteering at Lafayette Transitional Housing<https://lthc.net/> which serves the homeless population in the Lafayette area. They provide shelter for those in need overnight. As you can imagine, this becomes a critical need as the weather gets colder. Although cleaning is never a glamorous job, it is a necessity to keep these shelters going and is a great way for us to give back to the community. For our project, we will be cleaning two locations. They will supply us with all the cleaning supplies that we need so we will just need to show up and dress accordingly. Unfortunately, Friday tended to be the best time for everyone's schedule so we went with it. Hopefully after that, you will still have time for fun after we are done.
