This weekend Puerto Rico was hit by a hurricane, causing many disasters across the island. The Puerto Rican Student Association is collecting items of need or monetary donations to help those affected by this disaster. BME will be placing a box outside MJIS 1051 for this week if anyone wants to contribute any of the listed items. Items of greatest need include: water filters, first-aid kits, non-perishable food, gallons of water, toiletries, solar lanterns, canned and packaged food (rice, oil, pasta, pasta sauce, corned beef, etc.), OTC medications, adult and baby diapers, feminine products, disposable containers and cutlery.
