Hi All, *Reminder on our Department Credit Card Procedure* I wanted to send a reminder on the process for requesting use of a department credit card. Please do not stop by and request a credit card. Instead, send me an email with the following info below. * What you are buying * Where you are buying it from * Short reason for purchase * Estimated cost * Account number that will be use for the purchase (F. #) * Make sure to copy your advisor on this email **Department credit cards can be used for conference registration, possible subscriptions (these should be non-automatically renewing subscriptions) purchasing some items at local stores, possibly purchasing items online if NOT available to purchase via Ariba and/or completing a purchase form, and possibly some other purchasing needs. **They should NOT be use for travel though. Please refer to the travel email I have sent for proper travel booking procedures. I will send a follow up email confirming receipt approving you to use one of the credit cards. Please make sure to be patient, I will respond but sending something during lunch and/or a meeting might delay the response slightly but I will be keeping up with requests.
