1. PPDA sponsored Seminar series

Starting early 2013 we will have a series of seminars from speakers who have their careers in the private sector (banking, pharmaceutical, engineering companies among others). More details to come in the first newsletter of 2013.

3. PPDA End of the year basketball game

The PPDA is hosting a social event for Post-Docs with friends and families also welcome. If you will be on campus and want to watch a basketball game with fellow Post-Docs, the game is December 29, at 2:00pm. The game will be between Purdue vs. William & Mary at Mackey Arena. If you are interested, please sign up for the doodle pool (PPDA t-shirts will be given to who sign up for this event). You will need to buy your own tickets (website is below) and we plan to meet at the entrance 30 minutes before game starts. Hope to see you all there.

4. PPDA Welcome Letter
 
The PPDA drafted a Welcome Letter to be distributed to new postdocs coming to Purdue. This way, newly hired postdocs will have access to all the PPDA information as soon as they get to Purdue.
